Situation
A warm water pool addition to the pre-existing Sunbury Aquatic & Leisure Centre facility.
Solution
Atkar Group’s Au.diPanel was the acoustic lining of choice to satisfy Co-Op Studio’s challenging design brief. Acoustic performance was an important consideration for this space as was delivering a striking aesthetic, all within budget constraints.
Au.diPanel in Goldcore Light Marine Grade Plywood satisfied because of its suitability for use in an aquatic environment. It also delivered on decorative finish requirements with its attractive rich timber hue.
Atkar Group partnered with Ireland Brown Constructions to develop their installation system, making the design concept a reality. The panels were mounted using our Au.diMount Express Joint Concealed System.
The end result – compelling to look at and pleasing acoustic performance.
